Stopping for lunch, take the camera outside and have a little walk.
So many times I have watched Cattle Egrets in the dust of animals or riding on a cows back.
When I found these guys at their nesting sight I was fascinated to watch at a distance.
I hope the photographs tell the story from nest building, nest sitting, preening, coming and going from their nest site and roost deep in the tall rushes.
Such a surprise to watch through the lens and so different from the normal sighting!
A real pleasure.
